That's "brenner", i.e. burner - but you wouldn't believe what we call brener back home... it's a homemade burner, a piece of 3" pipe with holes on the side, welded on half a meter of normal half-inch pipe, fitted to two meters of hose, that connects to a propane bottle. When a pig is slaughtered (November is near... coming soon), that flame is the quick way to burn off the bristle. In slang, the same word is used for CD/DVD burners :).
