Now we know that the resource file is in the current default directory. If there are any other applications sharing that directory, this might be a problem. Further, if, in your code, you SET RESOURCE TO... and the file exists but isn't a valid resource if, you'll get this type of error. Try creating a CONFIG.FPW file in the working directory, include the line RESOURCE = ON, and backup and delete any existing FOXUSER file. By default VFP will create a new one for you.
