There are a lot of surveys and pundits out there which show one or the other candidate came out ahead. Look at another survey and you get different results. What actually was interesting though is most polls reflect this statement:

More than two-thirds of debate watchers agreed that both McCain and Obama would be able to handle the job of president if elected.

I am not surprised most polls show the women polled seem to think Obama had come out on top because he is probably the best speaker of his generation. He is very personable as well. That helped Kennedy and it is helping Obama. I think McCain came across more knowledgeable but Obama came across capable and personable. Bush's speeches have embarrassed this country so much in the past that I think it will be a welcome relief to the majority of this country's citizens to have a President who can eloquently express his views.
