I think we're now confusing a bit. At the time we're producing the word document, we create it will all the records. Suppose, in the original process (that actually prints them) the X number of records were printed and the Y failed. We can keep the word document that was generated in some place. The operator now says - I want to re-print the records (or call them accounts) starting from Account X. We need to open this word file, find this record (page) and start printing from this page. That's how I understood your idea.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
