The memo file is actually missing because it is too big (350Mb). So I use Neil's method to change the homedir to cd-rom drive. I tried it and it works. But I forgot I have copied the memo file back to do some works just before ! I removed it later. The program still keeps on looking for the file. My problem is still there. My idea is to run the application in harddrive while the database files are in the cd-rom and the cd-rom drive name may be different for different user. How to accomplish it ? Many thanks. Harry
