So the democrats should stop trying to place all of the blame on the republicans, they are pretty much both equally at fault for "failed policies".

>Controlled is too strong a word. They don't have enough of a majority to get much done. They hope to pick up enough seats next month that they will have about a 60-40 advantage. If they get that and Obama is elected, there won't be any excuses.
