>>The Black Hawks just announced ticket plans for the New Year's game at Wrigley Field. Tickets will be $75 (youths and obstructed views), $225, and $325. The higher seats are more expensive, which didn't make sense to me. I have sat in the upper reaches of Wrigley Field and that can be freezing even in the springtime. Better sightlines, I guess.

Nice thing about seating for RoadRunners (www.topekaroadrunners.com) games is that the ends are general admission, so I can follow the goalie when he switches ends. ;))

We had an oudoor game here a few years ago. The original Oilers Played the The Montreal Canadien's old timers. Then the present Oilers played a regular season game. The temperature was about thirty five below zero (Weather wise. It wasn't snapper, but it was a nipper) and the stadium was sold out.

Interesting story - I live in Spruce Grove. When I moved here I met Bob and we became friends. When he was driving home from work he used to yell at the kids to get that G$# D@#$% net off the F^$^#in road. A few years later that kid was playing for the Oilers. His name is Grant Fuhr.
I ain't skeert of nuttin eh?
Yikes! What was that?
