http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endbenutzer-Lizenzvertrag says, as far as I can understand, that "any stipulations as to the licencing that are made after the purchase are worthless" ("unenforceable" would be the proper American legalese, IIRC). I'd like a more precise translation, if possible... Agnes?

In Germany, a standard-software EULA is legally relevant only if the end-user agrees to it while purchasing the software.
If an EULA gets presented after the deal, for instance during installation or as a paper inside the box, it is legally meaningless.
That applies also when the consumer/buyer clicks an "I agree" dialog during installation.

Parts of the original text are not directly translatable, I think -
"Wirkungslos" in this context is probably close to "legally irrelevant", but it can also mean "ineffective", "noneffective", "inefficient", "null an void".
"zwischen Verkäufer und Erwerber der Software bereits beim Kauf vereinbart wurden" literally means "vendor and purchaser agreed on it (the EULA) already during the purchase"
