>>>Good morning,

>>>I opened MS Word this morning and saw something I never seen before in MS Word. I see a Controls Tool bar (floating), just like you would have in VFP or VB. I can click on the controls and drop them onto a Word document. I can click on the View code button and see VB code. My questions are:
>>>1. What did I click on last time I used Word that brought about this Controls Tool bar?
>>>2. What is the purpose of using controls like label, textbox, combo, etc, in a Word document?

>Yes, it does have the title Control Toolbox. And now, after reading your message, I can see that I can disable it. Funny thing is that I never enabled it; but somehow it got enabled. And I didn't know that people create forms in Words. I still can't see what useful purpose such a form would have (I mean created in Word instead of in VB designer).

I believe, it is VB designer anyway, you cannot drop controls on the document if not in design mode, which you may turn on/off clicking on the small triangle in the left upper corner on the Control Toolbox. The very same triangle you can see in Visual Basic Toolbox.
