>Does anyone know how to ignore Script Errors in the MS Web Browser - shell.explorer.2 control? Or how to avoid script errors. My IE version is the latest in Vista (7.+). I can browse to the same site with the normal big IE, but when I go to the same site in VFP using the shell.explorer.2 activex control in a VFP form I get script errors. I found one article that references that it may be possible on this site: http://www.inquiry.com/techtips/pb_pro/10min/10min0699.asp. The paragraph on the site says the following:
>
>"Next we need to add some code to trap and ignore errors generated by the browser control. To do this, right-click on the browser control, select script, and go to the error event. Add the following code: action = ExceptionIgnore!"

>But this doesn't seem to help for the VFP ole control. (Unless someone knows otherwise?)

>I've tried to trap for errors in the Error() and NavigateError() events, but the script errors do not seem to fire these events. I just get a script error message that pops up with a "Yes/No" button to continue or not.

Hi Mark,

I'm not sure if Web Browser respects these settings, but go to Tools/Internet Options Advanced tab. Find there Disable Script debugging and other related entries. See, if adjusting settings there will make any difference.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
