Yes, I've tried turning various settings on and off in both the IE Advanced and Security tabs, but no go. The only thing I found that made a difference is turning off "Active Scripting" in the Security tab, but obviously, that's not a choice I want. Thanks for your quick suggestion Naomi. Any other ideas to get the MS Web Browser control to ignore script errors would be very much appreciated. -Mark
>>Does anyone know how to ignore Script Errors in the MS Web Browser - shell.explorer.2 control? Or how to avoid script errors. My IE version is the latest in Vista (7.+). I can browse to the same site with the normal big IE, but when I go to the same site in VFP using the shell.explorer.2 activex control in a VFP form I get script errors. I found one article that references that it may be possible on this site:
http://www.inquiry.com/techtips/pb_pro/10min/10min0699.asp. The paragraph on the site says the following:
>>
>>"Next we need to add some code to trap and ignore errors generated by the browser control. To do this, right-click on the browser control, select script, and go to the error event. Add the following code: action = ExceptionIgnore!"
>>
>>But this doesn't seem to help for the VFP ole control. (Unless someone knows otherwise?)
>>
>>I've tried to trap for errors in the Error() and NavigateError() events, but the script errors do not seem to fire these events. I just get a script error message that pops up with a "Yes/No" button to continue or not.

>>Thanks in advance. This would be a great help. -Mark

>I'm not sure if Web Browser respects these settings, but go to Tools/Internet Options Advanced tab. Find there Disable Script debugging and other related entries. See, if adjusting settings there will make any difference.
