>>Years ago the BBC made a series called survivors about the aftermath of a plague.
>>
>>I remember really enjoying it as a lot was about people trying to survive when modern civilization has collapsed. Looks like a remake is coming out. I wonder if it'll be any good.

>Any good? Unlikely with such confusion about the plot:
>"When a deadly virus wipes out most of the world's population, a handful of survivors struggle to stay alive."
>So there's at least 50% gone
>By episode 1 only 10% have bought it. ("When a flu-like virus decimates....")
>At that rate, by episode 6, the scale of the disaster will probably turn out to be a few people feeling unwell......
So, the Viv theory of TV-show goodness ( g ):
Goodness == % of world population that croaks
Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if by "decimate" they mean 10% remaining (i.e. 90% dead) rather than the correct 10% dead - most of the world seems to get that wrong. If so, according to the VTOTVSG, it's getting even better ;)
