Hi Jim,

This looks to be evolving into a good standard reply. If so then don't forget to add that the classes are bereft of code comments, and change the classes and you probably break the wizards and builders. Also, good luck getting support <s>.

>>I got an advertisement in the mail today from MS about VFP 6.0. The ad says 6.0 comes with a framework and class libraries. What are some early opinions of the included framework? Is it easy to learn/use? I'm still using 5.0 and am considering the 6.0 pro upgrade.

>The framework included with VFP6 is designe to be used without knowing anything about how it works. It does a good job of achieving that goal. However, if you want to extend or modify the frmaework that is another story. In order to best enhance any framework you must understand how it works. Framework complexity is directly related to flexibility. The more flexible a framework is the more complex its code is.
