It only takes me about 2 seconds of memories of the dialog editor in old C/C++7 (maybe it's vastly improved by now I've not looked) compared to the VFP form designer and the urge for VC goes away. Although it's VERY nice that DLLs are so easy now, time critical non UI stuff can be pretty easily moved into C and called from VFP. Which is the perfect marriage of the two tools IMHO.
