I vividly remember one family party when Allie was little and smarting off to her mom. Tricia's mom was watching the scene with a big smile on her face, like "This is even better than I thought it would be" ;-)

I was the spitfire in my family. My mom often told me 'just wait til you have kids.' :o) Low and behold, I was blessed with the sweetest and most gentle little girl. The quietest and respectful and best-behaved of the grandchildren on both sides. My mom just shook her head and said I must have earned it in another life. :o) Surprisingly, my oldest sister got the spitfire and on my daughter's dad's side, it was the youngest son who had 4 girls and one boy who got the spitfire :o)
