>I have created a simple web service on my PC and it works fine in debug. Now I want to build a windows form app to call that web service. Documentation tells me to build a windows project and then add a web reference. But when I right click on the project name the menu option for Add a Web Reference does not appear. I can't find it anywhere.

Right-click on the References folder in the Solution Explorer and select "Add Web Reference"
