>I have created a simple web service on my PC and it works fine in debug. Now I want to build a windows form app to call that web service. Documentation tells me to build a windows project and then add a web reference. But when I right click on the project name the menu option for Add a Web Reference does not appear. I can't find it anywhere.

Right-click on the References folder in the Solution Explorer and select "Add Web Reference"

Thanks. The problem is that menu option does not appear. However, I found the solution. The first time you add a web reference
in VS2008 you have to select "Add Service Reference", then select the advanced button, then select the Add Web Reference button.

After that it came up as a menu option in that project. Strange but it worked.

Thanks again.
