Hi Marcia,

I guess I'm really dense but I can not make this work. I want to pause the automation process to allow the user to edit the document, then regain control of Word so that the document can be saved (if allowed) or printed to PDF (only available under program control) or to Printer. One of two things happens with this eventhandler code: Either the process never stops for the user to edit, or control is not returned to VFP until Word has been closed.

One of the things that seems to be missing is an understanding of exactly what the event handler is doing and how it works in conjunction to Word and the VFP automation process.. Who is in control when? Is there any documentation on this process?
