But you do not have the right to give my money away.

Wealth declared as $ is of little value if other people decide that barter or pillage is a better scheme. IOW you are completely reliant on everybody else co-operating with your preferred method of declaring wealth. When it works, it works really well. But if things seem to be stacked against one group in favor of another, history shows people storming the Bastille or throwing tea off ships. We're not talking so-called no-hopers here: we're talking about people from every strata of employment who are starting to believe that the system has failed them.

On a purely pragmatic level, IMHO it is less expensive and ultimately better for a peaceful society to prevent marginalization of able-bodied humans whose resentment does not take much to flare into chaos. FWIW I was present when a riot erupted a few years back; it began as a free concert in a civic square and exploded into a full riot with looting and overturned cars, for no apparent reason. Give people a reason and the risk increases an order of magnitude IMHO.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
