Why should they be forced to labor in minimum labor jobs or moulder on the dole so that you can have a better standard of living?

Please enlighten me. How does someone accepting money from hard-working tax payers like me better my standard of living? It betters their standard of living. And I am not forcing anyone to labor in minimum wage jobs. Anyone who wants a better job can do what I did - make a positive change in their life and expand their skill set so that they can get a better job. Furthermore, I do not see how anyone working for minimum wage is causing me to have a better standard of living. Your logic escapes me.
