>In your project do you have a properties node in the solution explorer? If you expand it there should be a AssemblyInfo file that you can open. I believe toward the bottom where the assembly: tag is you can set * for the values you want to be incremented auto-magically. I am not sure why but in my projects that build a dll they are all set to hard code all four values.

Ok, from there I can have it ok. If I only specify 2.5.*, it generates 2.5.3308.33191, where the last part is incremented by 10. I wonder what controls that. Is there a way to have only a 3 parts version such as 2.5.3308 and have it incrementing only by 1?
