Yes, eventually, VFP will all but disappear. But when I hear big whigs saying No VFP, the first thing ask is if they are still doing development with VB 6.0. You'd be surprised how many people say yes. Once that door is open, it's much easier to sell VFP.

I've been working as a programmer since 1981, so I've seen plenty of things come and go. VFP has been my favorite thus far - and of course it will be around for many many more years. But at some point it just won't be feasable to work with it - like are you gonna write a new app in Pascal for dos? sure you CAN do it, but who the heck is gonna want it? VFP will end up the same way.
