If the objects created with the current BLG are not supporting what you need, they can be altered directly by either overriding behavior or calling specific overloads. The real problem *seems* to be understanding the differences. I am hopeful that Kevin can post some input on this.

You are absolutely correct that we can do it by hand. But BLG is one of the main feature you need of buying mere mortals framework. MM2.3 can be compiled to Infragistics controls latest version. Actually that's what we were doing before until MM3.5 is released. I thought it was a mistake on our part to upgrade to 3.5.

Anyway, we did it. We were able to make BLG appear in VS2008 Tools Menu and it works fine. We did some tweaks in the MMBusinessLayerGenerator plugin.
