Hi Steve:

Ummm...not sure why the indexes are working the way they are, but I do have a workaround: Create standalone IDX files independant of the database container.

>I am currently working on an application that uses views of data on a SQL Anywhere server. For performance reasons we take these views offline, and we also create indexes on them. If we detect any corruption (missing dbf's etc...) for the offline views we dropoffline and createoffline to create a new local table.

I have tried using the "Delete Tag All" keywords, using the new offline view in admin mode to no avail. I have tried closing and re-opening the DBC in conjunction with the above to no avail. How do you make the DBC forget about indexes on offline views ? Can it simply recreate indexes (reliably) after a dropping offline and creating offline again ?
