Dear All

Friday night I finally installed VFP9 - it has been patiently waiting in its sealed box for a few months. All went smoothly: prerequisites were installed first, then Visual FoxPro 9, then VFP9 SP2, then the GDI+ patches, then Sedna. I picked up an old and relatively large project, moved it to VFP9 projects folder, managed to put it under source control, and started to check differences and migration issues out.

Everything was going fine until this morning, when I noticed that leaving the IDE took longer than I expected. Eventually, I was able to quit, so I didn't worry, at least not until I tried to launch VFP9 again. I tried but I couldn't, the main window appearead and then an error message stating:

Fatal error: Exception code=C0000005 @ 08-02-2009 19:20:48. Error log file: D:\Programas\Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9\vfp9err.log

(I checked vfp9err.log, it just logs this very same message without further detail). After a few tries, I decided to send the error report to Microsoft and reinstall VFP9 SP2, which was done without any errors reported. Nevertheless, the result has been the same, since: message error and out.

What did I try to solve the issue (more than once):
* remove completely VFP9
* reinstall prerequisites
* reinstall VFP9
* restart my system everytime before or during new set of tries

No matter what I do, I've been unable to reinstall VFP9 (VFP8 is working just fine as always did in the same machine).

Any help or lead in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
