>Friday night I finally installed VFP9 - it has been patiently waiting in its sealed box for a few months. All went smoothly: prerequisites were installed first, then Visual FoxPro 9, then VFP9 SP2, then the GDI+ patches, then Sedna. I picked up an old and relatively large project, moved it to VFP9 projects folder, managed to put it under source control, and started to check differences and migration issues out.

>
>Fatal error: Exception code=C0000005 @ 08-02-2009 19:20:48. Error log file: D:\Programas\Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9\vfp9err.log

>(I checked vfp9err.log, it just logs this very same message without further detail). After a few tries, I decided to send the error report to Microsoft and reinstall VFP9 SP2, which was done without any errors reported. Nevertheless, the result has been the same, since: message error and out.
