Does he have to logon as me from that laptop? Then I could get to it? He is very technically challenged. Not sure he could handle a lot of installation type stuff.

If _you_ are already registered there - then I'm guessing _you_ can remote into _your_ computer from anywhere else on the internet (preferably a DSL or faster connection). That's not going to help you access _his_ laptop computer. He will have to sign up / register _his_ laptop computer and then give you the username (usually an email address) and password to access his LogMeIn account, and the password to get on _his_ computer. Make sense?

If you upgrade from the free service (one computer only, no printing or file transfer or etc.) to one of their paid services, you can add more computer(s) to your account. LogMeIn Pro requires you to visit the location to add the computer to your account, whereas LogMeIn Reach (a more expensive service) lets you remote control other systems on an as-needed basis with the user's consent being involved somehow. It's all explained pretty well on the LogMeIn website.

I have 4 clients on my LogMeIn account, and my own office computer. Saves gobs of time and gasoline. No problem reaching back to Illinois from SWFox last October to keep up with anything I wanted on that system.
