I only asked that question as it's one of those things I turn off to give me better control over setting up a network share, as well as correcting some "quirkiness" that I've seen whenever it's turned on. Rather annoying whenever you have to deal with a WinXP Home computer and discover that the "feature" is always on (it cannot be disabled).
