I agree that there were some rude innuendos going on here. Being a woman in this field is not always easy ... there will be sexist remarks. Most of us have learned to deal effectively with this by

1) ignoring it
2) deal with it with a sense of humor and laugh it off
3) give it right back at them

You gotta have a thick skin. But ... that doesn't excuse the behavior here of some. Especially since Lynda was brand new here. You should have given her more time to get used to the community culture here. <g>
