You left out my group: stop giving money and support to any other country until we get our own house in order and then when and if that is accomplished, only give when the country requests it and make sure the world knows that it was asked for.

On the other hand, some US citizens seems not to care at all about their image in the rest of the world. Ignorant is the word that comes to mind. And other US citizens do blame the rest of the world for thinking badly about the US. Angry and feeling misunderstood are the words that come to mind here. Your tirade is an example of how this group thinks. There's probably also a third group: Those who think the US should listen better, analyze better, decide better and explain better. I think I'd be in the third group, if I were a US citizen.
