(Yes, I recall you are from the northeast -- MA? -- originally). 5-7 inches is the forecast in the northwest suburbs, where I live, and it looks like it's on track. March 28! I just let the dogs out in the back yard and they seemed a little confused.

I'd take the snow over a tornado any day! We had a tornado last night touch down about a quarter mile from me and directly behind my daughter's grandmother's house. One lady where it first touched down (about 2 miles away) was picked up from inside her house (which was destroyed) and thrown across her yard. She is in the hospital, had surgery but no serious injuries. Scary stuff. Tonight we have thunderstorms again (warm in the 70s today) and a tornado about 20 minutes ago touched down about 10 miles away. Now under a tornado watch til midnight and we have another band of bad weather scheduled to go through around 2 am. Needless to say, I won't sleep much tonight.
