Just because that was part of a sample I used last year at DevCon in Frankfurt to demonstrate the class. *s* There are not so many structures used by the Windows API that are simple, but still contain a pointer. In fact, you have to look really hard to find pointers in API functions that might of use for a VFP developer. A second reason is that the current version can only deal with pointer to strings when the components creates them, pointer that have allocated by Windows are currently not supported.
