>>Nope, not on my provider, This is europe. The percentage of people having a gun for recreation or hunting is way too low here and strictly regulated. I guess this channel would not have much audience up here

>You might enjoy this. It is actually about the language in the mountains of North Carolina, but they speak about their food, hunting, and fishing. See if you can catch the full program. It's one of the reason guns will not be outlawed in the U.S.anytime soon. There are still pockets of areas that live in rural poverty and hunt for their food. It's only from 2004. Of course, if the government steps in and provides food, then the hunting would no longer be necessary and guns could be outlawed. Unless some form of prosperity is brought to the region though, they would be forever on government assistance. It's hard to believe there are areas still like this, but there in just about every state in the south, west, and north in rural areas.

That actually reminds me a lot of visiting relatives living in different parts of England, in various small towns. Friendly people, their own dialects and local words.

I thought it was interesting how they say "poke" instead of "bag" (now we know where the expression "pig in a poke" probably comes from :)) I spent a few days in Oklahoma and Kansas years ago, I remember no-one said "poke" or "bag", everyone said "sack", as in getting a "sack" of groceries from the Piggly-Wiggly. If you actually said "bag", they would look funny at you for a second or so, then say "Oh, you mean 'sack'".

In related news, at the other end of the spectrum, Miss NC won Miss USA last night ;)
