>Michel, it's just my impression. I feel annoyed by all those blinking shrill pictures. A waste of time to move my eyes to the important stuff.
We will add more experience in our banner design from now on.
>Those colors are bad all the time then. I think the "outer frame" has changed, thats where the blue on grey is annoying.
The previous color was white for the menu, what you call as the "outer frame". Now, it is very close to white and many may still think it is. Before, the background was a dark blue, now it is a light blue.
But, in overall, as I have found on this site, no matter what we do, we will never please everyone.
>Then it's just the optical impression that squeezes the inner area. The outer frame is to strong,
It was stronger before. But, if we ever adjust it later on, we will, as I say, add more experience to it. So, that should help.
>Anyway the page centered with wide bars looks a little bit lost on my 1600 pix wide screen. A page that will not fit screen width looks allways like poor design to
me. (First impression?)
Ah ok, on that one, the previous design was stretching to the entire browser area, which was really bad on such high resolution. BTW, I run at 1920, so my resolution is bigger thus the previous design was more not suitable for me. We will add a color to fill up the empty area. It just doesn't make sense to have a Web page to auto stretch based on the browser area. It worked for a while but this was really bad for reading and stuff like that. But, filling the empty area with a color will help.
