I'm just parroting what I've read (lol). I haven't worked with the stripped down embedded SQL yet (but I have messed with desktop 7.0)....you can always turn off transaction logging (but it defeats the purpose). Anyway, isn't ADO against SQL Server supposed to rival Fox in speed? I don't believe it but others have posted that opinion here.

I have to use it....I don't have any complaints with it that I don't have with any other server database.
