You ship your app with SCREEN=OFF? Or do you mean SCREEN=ON? If it's ON, how do you make your app look decent?

I'm not surprised to hear that this is MS's attitude towards it.

So, what this means to me is that we cannot develop commercial apps with VFP6.0. I can't see having the ugly VFP Screen come up as it loads and we certainly can't require IE40! What about all the Netscape users? And how about users that don't have Internet access? I know MS can't imagine it, but there's still lots of people that aren't cool and surf the net :) or use IE4.

How is everyone else handling their commercial apps?

Guess I'm going to have to look at using Delphi for this project.

Thanks for letting me know. If you hear of a workaround, please let me know too!

>During the VFP 6 beta, I discovered the same problem. I talked with Susan Graham (MS) and she said that "people should upgrade their browsers to the current version" - that being IE4.0 Go figure - though it sounds a bit lame.
