When I toggle the themes on and off in development mode it changes the form correctly (to windows xp look), but when I compile an exe it does not show the theme. If I build a .app and run that, it does keep the sytle. These forms are created from a class and I tried those commands there also. These were VFP6 apps and I am trying to convert to VFP 9. I am at a high beginner/low level intermediate programmer, so thanks for the help.

If the forms were compiled on vfp6 - then form.themes will result in an error (as vfp6 will mark that line as an error)

All forms/classlibs have to be recompiled first under vfp9, then run under vfp9
[ same applies if you switch back]
