I am beginning to think this is more related to your project when it got created. Have you worked the jumpstart project for Business Ojbects? Can you work through that Jump start only to the point of creating the project and creating the first business objects so we can see if a new project and data Access works for it with the BLG?

Also, if you are willing to zip up your project and send it to me, I could look at it for any configuration or consistency issue.
