Hi Bill,

DNN is a great platform for doing alot of web support work. It has a few gotchas. It only works with IIS and it must use SQL server but it does work well with the Express Editions. I can do a complete install in about 15 minutes so it looks complex but it really isn't. You will want to use the newest 4.9.4 version of DNN. Version 5.xx is still not for production use.

Here is a great link to some install tips. Make sure to pay attention to your permmissions because that is where most new users slip up.
