Did not study exactly Obama's tax plans, but perhaps VAT would be implemented in a way that it would phase out some
other type of taxation (Like direct sales tax) and be part of some well calculated state wide tax policy. Obama's economic team
are not stupid people.

Now how TV presenter and his guest on a right wing station comprehend those things, is whole different matter {g}
