My brother have a Corolla which approach the 250,00 miles mark and it's still running without sign of dying soon. I think that our winter and road condition is worse than rural, upstate NY in winter.
Hyundai are doing better, but they are still below Toyota and Honda IMHO. As for Kia, this joke is running a lot over here:
