Hi all.

What I know about development on the web could be put in a thimble. However, we are getting a web server for our intranet and I have an immediate need to implement a small VFP program on it. Here's what it has to do:

1. Decode a date that is in a small file in the windows directory on the local pc.
2. Determine if the date is within 1 week of the current date.
3. Send back an updated encoded date to the local pc.

This little date file is used by a VFP app that I developed that runs as a stand-alone on the local pc. It expires periodically. So, if the sales rep needs to renew the program, we want him to be able to log onto the web server, select an option and update the program expiration date(if applicable). Security is not an issue, as this has all been handled up front. I need to present this in a meeting tomorrow, so all advice gratefully accepted.

TIA.

Marcia
