Thank you very much for your help. I now have VPN connection and can connect. Next thing I will be downloading a copy of VNC software.
>PPTP is a windows protocol. Just setup a new network connection as I described below.
>1. Click on create new connection.
>2. Click on Next.
>3. Click on Connect to the network a my workplace and then click next.
>4. Click on Virtual Private Network connection and then click next.
>5. Give the connection a name and then click next.
>6 Click on Do not dial the initial connection (I am assuming that you have a broad band connection to the internet)
>7. Put in the host connection.
>8 finish the connection.

>From now on you should be able to click on the network connection, put in the user name and password and make a connection. If this does not work then you will need to get more info from your customer.
