What about the situation where a user need to enter dates dd/mm/yyyy under one circumstance and then based another situation in mm/dd/yyyy format? The obvious choice would be to issue the SET DATE as needed. But you can't do that. Besides if it's not a bug why didn't M$ make it only a setup parameter for use in the CONFIG.FPW file and not an actual command?
