>Believe it or not, my 71 year old mom does this. :) She has an inexpensive hdmi tv/monitor that has multiple inputs. She has one hdmi cable from the laptop to the tv and another from the cablebox to the tv. She uses pip on the tv itself so she watch tv in a window on the monitor. Her pip is adjustable in size and location which is nice.

Interesting. When I was shopping for a new monitor I was think why do some have more than 1 hdmi input. Now I understand that it could be useful and practical.
