Believe it. I haven't had a drink of alcohol in at least 20 years, save an occasional sip of wine for ritual purposes (and then only when no grape juice is available and not taking a sip would be rude). I don't like the stuff. I've never found an alcoholic beverage whose taste I like, and one drink makes me feel like I have the flu. No virtue issue here. I just don't like drinking.

Yeah, that's another story. Conferences do seem to encourage heavier alcohol use.
