>I have to be honest, some of the so-called "chick drinks" are like drinking really nice flavors of kool-aid. The famous "sex on the beach" drink tastes really nice....but of course, after about 6 of them, and you're out of commission for 2 days (or so I'm told).

>OK, I have to ask this...have you ever had a Guinness? I mean, an ICE-COLD Guinness? To me, it tastes even better than my favorite non-alcoholic drinks (chocolate milk, Dr. pepper, etc.).

Can't say that I have. My kid put it best: "beer smells like a combination of Cheerios and piss." I haven't had any kind of beer or ale since my father used to let me have a sip of the occasional beer he drank when I was a kid.

I am a picky eater (though I eat far more variety as an adult than I did as a kid). I have a problem with things that are at all bitter and with very strong flavors. I'm reasonably certain this is at least partly my particular brain/body chemistry, since it's always been an issue and my mother served a huge variety of food, so it's not like I was brought up on white bread only.
