I am confused (genuinely). What do you think the "huge issue" is? It's pretty clear the private sector is not doing a good job of providing coverage of enough people at a reasonable cost. If you don't want the government to get involved as an alternative to the private networks that exist now, how are things supposed to improve? The current players promising to do better?
