The only way to defeat the terrorists is by marginalizing them and we need others of the same background with us to make that happen.

But, you have to deal with the leaders of Iran, N. Korea, etc. They're the ones who support the terrorists, and talk alone is not going to change their minds. It's very clear that they want to destroy us.
