Thanks for your feedback it does explain a lot of things for me. I haven't taken SCRUM training yet. from your message I'll make it mandatory of things that need to get done. The switch for me might not be hard because right now I am part of the team and I still manage. I still code with everyone but part of my job is to oversee the development department. I'm guessing that's not going to change as much as I was originally thinking. Currently I let the lead developers run their own projects and trust them to tell me if they need help If someone isn't a lead I team them up with a lead that should help mentor them on how to run a project. I think I'll just need to adapt that to the SCRUM process.

The colocation thing just worries me because the president is talking about mixing all the groups into one area. Currently all the programmers are together and we function just fine that way (I don't have an office I sit in the middle of the team).

I think we'll need to break the one team per person rule so we can still do both baseline and custom work. Just need to figure out how to make that work.

Other then that I think I'll just need to swallow some pride to make this work :)
